Artist, Designer, and Visual Storyteller

My name is Matthew Delaney, I am an artist, painter, and published illustrator who spends most of my time exploring ideas through images. My work moves between painting, illustration, stained glass and design, blending careful composition with a more intuitive, expressive approach to mark-making and texture. Years of working as a designer shape how I build images, but the heart of my work comes from curiosity, experimentation, and a love for making things by hand. At its core, my work is about observation, storytelling, and the small moments that make an image feel human.
